Prof. Okan Bulent Yildiz, a faculty member of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Hacettepe University won the “Walter Futterweit Clinical Research Excellence” Award in the United States. This scientific award by the Androgen Excess and PCOS Society is given to an outstanding physician/scientist who has made significant contributions to the field of androgen excess disorders and PCOS. Dr. Yildiz became the first Turkish scientist to receive this award. Yildiz has been ranked top 1% in science-wide author database by Elsevier Scopus and Stanford University.
