TÜBİTAK Science Award to our two faculty members

Evaluation studies for the year 2022 regarding the "TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Encouragement Awards" have been concluded. 2 faculty members were given Science Awards in the fields of engineering sciences and health sciences by the TÜBİTAK Board of Directors.

In the Field of Engineering Sciences; Professor of Food Engineering Department. Dr. Vural Gökmen was deemed worthy of the Science Award for his "high-quality work in the field of food science and engineering on the development of advanced analysis techniques for monitoring food safety risks during food processing and food processing technologies for reducing food safety risks".

Department of Internal Medicine, Department of Child Health and Diseases Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Fatih Özaltın, on the other hand, received the Science Award for his outstanding work in the field of hereditary kidney diseases, on better understanding of the pathogenesis of kidney diseases, development of individualized treatment approaches for them, as well as a better understanding of normal kidney physiology.
