Dr. Gamze Atak, a lecturer in the Department of Physics Engineering at Hacettepe University’s Faculty of Engineering, has been awarded the ‘PRESTIJ for Senior Researcher’ grant to carry out her research at the Institut de Chimie de la Matière Condensée de Bordeaux (ICMCB), part of the Université de Bordeaux, in Bordeaux, France. The “PRESTIJ for Senior Researcher” fellowship supports researchers as part of the PRESTIJ 2026 Research Fellowship Program, administered by Embassy of France in Türkiye. This program aims to support Turkish researchers in carrying out advanced scientific research at leading research institutions in France and in developing international collaborations.
Under the scholarship programme, Dr. Atak will carry out research at the ICMCB focusing on metal oxide thin films, electrochemical functional materials and energy applications; in doing so, he will contribute to the development of international scientific collaborations.
