Hacettepe University Faculty of Law team won the first place in the 12th Mekteb-i Adliye Moot Court Competition organized by Ankara Legal Thought Community (AHDT), founded by law students of Ankara University.
The team, composed of senior students Esra Sedef Kök, Pelin Gezer, Zeynep Töngel and Semiha Sevinç was awarded the first prize among the 109 competing teams. The team was supervised by Assist. Prof. Dr. Dila Okyar, member of Hacettepe University Faculty of Law. In the final oral hearing stage, held on May 5, 2025, Hacettepe team has presented its oral arguments before the jury composed of Hikmet Kanık, member of the 3th Civil Chamber of Turkish Court of Cassation, Gökhan Karaköse, Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor, Prof. Dr. Neslihan KARATAŞ DURMUŞ, Dean of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Law and Hakan Topaloğlu, the President of Balıkesir Bar Association and won the first prize.
