According to the 2026 Asia University Rankings released by Times Higher Education, Hacettepe University has maintained its position in the 201–250 band, the same as last year.
Based on a global ranking methodology, the THE Asia rankings are designed with weighted indicators that reflect the region’s specific dynamics and priorities.
This year, a total of 929 universities from 36 countries and regions were included in the rankings, compared to 853 last year. The increase highlights the growing focus of higher education institutions in Asia on international visibility and competitiveness.
Hacettepe University ranked 8th among 137 universities from Türkiye included in the list.
