The results of the Webometrics 2026 World University Rankings, which are based on the academic visibility, scientific productivity, and digital accessibility of universities, have been announced.
According to the announced results, our university achieved significant success by ranking 448th among 5,500 universities worldwide and 1st among 226 universities in Turkey in the Webometrics World University Rankings. The results reveal that Hacettepe University's academic output has high visibility in the digital environment and creates a strong impact on an international scale.
The 2026 results of the Webometrics ranking, which evaluates the web-based academic impact of universities based on the indicators of Visibility, Transparency, and Excellence, showed that our university's efforts in the areas of digitalization, open science, and research-orientedness have been recognized internationally.
