Hacettepe University's introductory days, which will take place from July 27-30, 2025, with the slogan "More forward, more towards the best," began with an opening ceremony on July 27. The ceremony, held at the Tunçalp Özgen Congress and Culture Center on the Beytepe Campus, was opened with a speech by University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit Güran. Prof. Dr. Güran thanked the prospective students and their families present in the hall and emphasized that participants will be provided with the most comprehensive information during the introductory days.
Prof. Dr. Güran: “Our goal is to help students make the most accurate decisions.”
In his opening remarks, Rector Güran stated that the university, its faculties, and departments would be introduced during the introductory days. He said, “For three days, we will host our students and prospective students in our faculties and departments. We will introduce them to both our university's facilities and our faculties and departments.” Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit Güran continued:
Our goal is not to confuse students. We aim to help them obtain the most accurate information and make the most accurate decisions. We will share our strengths and weaknesses, our successes and failures, with all sincerity and openness.

the Peer Guides who contributed to the organization of the introductory days . Prof. Dr. Güran commented on the Peer Guides, who provided all the necessary assistance to prospective students during the introductory days:
For years, this organization has been introducing our university and its departments to our peers and incoming students, in addition to our university staff. We register them, answer their questions, and provide them with counseling. We guide them in promoting our university both here and on campus. I thank them for their kind attitude, their contributions, and their inclusion as a part of our team. We're so glad they're here.
Opportunity to meet with the rector during the promotion days
Prospective students will be provided with information about education, accommodations, scholarships, job opportunities, European Union projects, exchange programs, and study abroad opportunities at booths set up during the introductory days. Faculty deans, school directors, and faculty members will give presentations about their academic units. Prospective students will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with faculty members and the university rector.
Prospective students will also have the opportunity to learn a great deal about student clubs, university life, and the social opportunities on our campuses at the stands set up by student clubs affiliated with Hacettepe University.

During the four-day introductory days, prospective students will be introduced to each faculty and department individually, and special introductory tours will also be organized for prospective students. Prospective students will have the opportunity to experience all Hacettepe facilities, from its faculty and library to its laboratory and museum.
