TeamSTEPPS®, Tools and Strategies to Improve Patient Safety and Team Performances program, developed in the USA in 2005, is a strategic approach that is widely used to improve the quality of healthcare, strengthen interprofessional cooperation and increase patient safety all over the world, especially in the USA, Canada and Australia. and trainings.
The rights to translate TeamSTEPPS® programs and tools into Turkish and use them in Turkey were given to Hacettepe University Interprofessional Cooperation and Simulation Training, Application and Research Center (HUMİSAM) in June 2022.
After intensive work, the first training was given to the team that will take part in these processes on 1-2 November 2022. Faculty members from the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and experts from the Hospitals Quality Coordinator attended the training.
It is aimed to disseminate the trainings at institutional and national level.
