Prof. Dr. İbrahim Celalettin Haznedaroğlu and Assistant Professor Nagihan Doğan from our university were deemed worthy of the 2024 awards given by the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA).
As part of the 2024 International Academy Awards of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), which is conducted under the auspices of the Presidency and is open to all scientists in the world, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Celalettin Haznedaroğlu, Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of our University, was deemed worthy of the award in the “Health and Life Sciences” category. Prof. Dr. Haznedaroğlu received this award for his first definition of the Local Bone Marrow Renin-Angiotensin System, the development of Ankaferd hemostat, which has taken its place in the literature as a groundbreaking drug by providing hemostasis through red blood cells, and his studies in the field of hemostasis and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia.
TÜBA-TESEP Awards
Within the scope of the Scientific Copyrighted Works Program (TESEP), which aims to encourage the production of qualified copyrighted works for universities, the 2024 TÜBA-TESEP Award was awarded to our university's Faculty of Letters, History Department Assistant Professor Nagihan Doğan with her work titled "The Power of Religion, the Religion of Power: Caliphate, Politics and Islam" in the field of Social Sciences.
