Ozan Kaya, Engin Göktan, Beste Elibol and Sueda Boztürk, 4th year students of the Environmental Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Türkay Onocak won the first prize in the "Hobbyists" category at the Invention Festival they participated in with the project they prepared within the scope of the elective "CEV-469 Innovative Environmental Projects". The project was also deemed worthy of the "Most Extraordinary", "Most Artistic" and "Heaviest Design" Awards. The Invention Festival is organized in the same format and content, based on the competition called "Invention Challenge", which has been open to the participation of JPL-NASA engineers every year in the USA and Southern California schools since 1998, and is held only in Turkey, except the USA.
