Hacettepe University gave their diplomas to 6,261 students who completed their associate and undergraduate education this year. In the graduation marathon, which started on June 27 and continued until July 6, thousands of students threw their caps enthusiastically.
Hacettepe University 2021-2022 academic year graduation ceremonies were held at Beytepe Campus Open Air Theater and Sıhhiye Campus Open Amphitheater. After an intensive education process, 6 thousand 261 students graduated from 16 faculties, 1 conservatory, 2 colleges and 4 vocational schools received their diplomas. The ceremonies, in which students threw their caps into the air with enthusiasm, were broadcast live on Hacettepe University's corporate youtube channel. Our live broadcasts were watched with interest by tens of thousands of people who could not attend our ceremonies in person. Thousands of our graduates who attended our ceremonies, which were held using high-level technical tools, became a part of a precious memory that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
According to the standard program flow prepared by the ceremony committee of our university, the speeches of the faculty/conservatory/vocational high school winner, faculty dean/conservatory director/vocational school director and the rector of our university were included in our ceremonies. Hacettepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit Güran addressed the parents. Güran said, “The most commendable hidden heroes are the devoted families of our graduates. You have entrusted us with your children, whom you have raised with self-sacrifice and out of sight. We are handing over your children to you and our nation as individuals with the professional knowledge and competence required by their field of education.”
During the ceremonies, the top graduates of faculties, vocational schools and conservatories became the spokespersons of the pride and enthusiasm experienced with their speeches. Cansu Aydoğan from the Faculty of Dentistry, Zeynep Dağ from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Anıl Acar from the Faculty of Literature, Ayça Gökçe from the Faculty of Education, Ayşegül Bülbül from the Faculty of Science, Selenay Aydoğdu from the Faculty of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Kıvılcım Feyzioğlu from the Faculty of Fine Arts, İrem Boylu from the Faculty of Nursing, Recep Çakır from the Faculty of Law, Yağız Yeldan from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Zafer Yılmaz from the Faculty of Communication, Ece Kunduracıoğlu from the Faculty of Engineering, Zeynep Yılmaz from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Tevhide Değer Morina from the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Eylül Kasapoğlu from the Faculty of Medicine, Doğaç İşbilen from the Ankara State Conservatory, Rüstem Karaarslan from the Başkent OSB Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Şevval Kadir from the Vocational School of Health Services, Büşra Demir from the Vocational School of Social Sciences expressed the happiness of all our students.
Our staff of the Directorate of Press and Public Relations, Department of Information Technology, Directorate of Protection and Security, Directorate of Support Services, Department of Health, Culture and Sports and Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, who took part in 20 graduation ceremonies that lasted for about 2 weeks, worked with great devotion and effort. They played an important role in the smooth completion of our ceremonies.
