Muhammet Aydın, a 2005 Graduate of English Language and Literature of our Faculty, currently working as an English Language Teacher at Ordu/Unye Mehmet Necati Vidinli Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, was named as the Global Teacher Ambassador by the United Kingdom in 2022.
Our proud graduate also got ‘’Inspiring Teacher of the Globe Award (SPACE), Inspiring Teacher of the Year Award (Sun Awards), Best Practice of the Year, Special Incentive Award (Middle East Technical University), Outstanding Achievement in Education - Teacher of the Year Award (Arti Education Magazine), Lifelong Youth Achievement Awards (JCI Istanbul, Türkiye Awareness Awards), in 2022 besides getting Teacher of the Year Award (Ministry of Turkish National Education), Changemaker Award-24 November My Story ( Ministry of Turkish National Education, TRT and Turkish Intelligence Foundation) and Global Teacher Prize, one of the Top 50 teachers of the World, (The United Kingdom) in 2021. Global Techer Prize Contest is accepted as the Nobel of Education and the title is given by Varkey Foundation, (The United Kingdom) to a teacher who has made an outstanding contribution to the profession.
