Scientific Research Award to Özge Boyacıoğlu

As the output of his master's thesis, which he completed under the supervision of Özge Boyacıoğlu, a PhD student in the Bioengineering Department of the Graduate School of Sciences (Atılım University Faculty of Medicine research assistant) and Petek Korkusuz, a faculty member in the Histology and Embryology Department of the Faculty of Medicine, and under the supervision of Elif Bilgiç, the Cell Death & Disease within the scope of Nature Index. Güven Health Group XIII with the research article titled “ACPA decreases non-small cell lung cancer line growth through Akt/PI3K and JNK pathways in vitro” published in the journal Dr. Aysun-Ahmet Küçükel was awarded the Basic Sciences Best Scientific Research Award. The research, which is about a high-tech new cancer drug candidate and its formulation, was carried out with the coordination of Faculty of Pharmacy Faculty Members Erem Bilensoy, Emirhan Nemutlu and Cem Varan and Faculty of Medicine Faculty Member Çetin Kocaefe and PhD student Duygu Sevim.
