Hacettepe University Adult Hospital Nutrition Support Unit, which has been operating in the fields of multidisciplinary practice, research and education with physicians, dietitians, nurses and pharmacists since 1994, has been accredited within Hacettepe University Hospitals.
Continuing its activities under the responsibility of Prof. Dr. Metin Çakmakçı, Prof. Dr. Osman Abbasoğlu and Prof. Dr. Meltem Halil, the Nutrition Support Unit became the first nutrition unit in Turkey to be accredited for 5 years by the Accreditation Board of Nutrition Support Units, initiated by the Clinical Enteral Parenteral Nutrition Association (KEPAN) for the first time in the world.
