According to the results of the “Young Scientists Award Program” (BAGEP) organized by the Science Academy, three faculty members from our university have been awarded.
The results of the “Young Scientists Award Program (BAGEP)”, which was launched by the Science Academy in 2013 and is supported by public contributions rather than government funding, have been announced for the year 2025. Three faculty members from Hacettepe University have been selected as recipients of the BAGEP 2025 Award.
As part of the “Science Day in Academia” event organized by the Science Academy, Dr. Nefize Ezgi Altınışık from the Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Letters; Dr. İdil Yet from the Department of Bioinformatics, Institute of Health Sciences; and Assoc. Prof. Erdal Sağ from the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology, Faculty of Medicine, were honored with the BAGEP 2025 Award.
At the same ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Erdal Sağ was also awarded the “Türkan Saylan Science Award” by the Association for the Support of Contemporary Living. The BAGEP Award, which is granted to outstanding young scientists and includes two years of research funding, has so far been awarded to 24 young scholars from Hacettepe University since its first recipient in 2014.
