The Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) 2025 Outstanding Young Scientist Award (TÜBA-GEBİP) was presented to Prof. Dr. Çağrı Koç, a faculty member of our University's Department of Industrial Engineering.
The TÜBA-TÜBİTAK Science Awards will be presented to their recipients by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at a ceremony to be held at the Presidential Complex on December 23, 2025.
Prof. Dr. Çağrı Koç was deemed worthy of this prestigious award in the field of Engineering Sciences for his internationally acclaimed work in mathematical modeling, metaheuristic algorithms, and sustainable production and distribution planning optimization.
Under the TÜBA-GEBİP Program, which has been running since 2001 to support young scientists, a total of 28 outstanding young researchers were awarded in 2025. Since the program's inception, 697 researchers have benefited from this important support.
