Two projects developed by students of our university were awarded in the "Tomorrow's Technology Leaders Competition" in the categories of digital solutions and innovative technologies, standing out among 406 projects from 130 universities.
These two projects, created by Hacettepe University students, won second and third place after a rigorous two-stage evaluation process in Turkcell's "Tomorrow's Technology Leaders Competition." Our students presented their projects to Turkcell CEO Ali Taha Koç, deputy general managers, and senior executives from TÜBİTAK, Tazi AI, and Harvard Business Review Türkiye.
The project "ScaleCall AI," which aims to offer companies a customized, self-improving AI Voice Agent platform to enhance efficiency in call center processes, secured second place among the 406 competing projects. The project team included Computer Engineering second-year students Muhammed Taşkın, Bilgin Gürek, and Sercan Kahvecioğlu, as well as Artificial Intelligence Engineering second-year students Ecesu Aracı and Muhammed Ekinci.
The "Tagora" project, developed by Hacettepe University students, was awarded third place. It aims to support large language models in generating reliable outputs using real-life scenario-based inputs and feedback from expert professionals. The project team consisted of Ahmet Melih Narin (3rd-year Family and Consumer Sciences student), Alican Çopur (prep-year Computer Engineering student), and Arda Sarıcaoğlu (3rd-year Business Administration student).
Our award-winning students received their prizes from the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır.
