The prestigious academic evaluation organization based in the UK, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), has announced the QS World University Rankings 2025. In the QS 2025 World University Rankings, which evaluated 5,663 universities worldwide and ranked the most universities to date with 1,503 universities, 25 universities from Turkey were included.
Hacettepe University, which was ranked in the 761-770 band in the 2024 QS World University Rankings, rose by 120 places in 2025 to be in the 641-650 band. With this result, our university has made significant progress in recent years.
Based on the evaluation of data from the last five years, Hacettepe University was awarded the Most Improved – Europe award in 2025. The award was presented at the QS World University Rankings 2025 Awards Ceremony held in Washington DC on June 4. The award was received on behalf of our university by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Serhat Ünal.
