100 Successful Women Leaders in Decision Mechanisms Award

Professor Sibel Aksu Yıldırım, faculty member of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, was awarded an award by the International Women's Forum Turkey (IWF Turkey) within the framework of the "Women Leaders in Decision Mechanisms Project". Prof. Dr. Sibel Aksu Yıldırım, in addition to being an expert scientist in her field, inspires other women around her, leads and plays a role in decision mechanisms. This success was crowned with an award, Prof. Dr. Sibel Aksu Yıldırım's dedication in her efforts to encourage women to be leaders in society in general, as well as her work in her own field, is also appreciated.

IWF Turkey is the Turkish structuring of the International Women's Forum (IWF), which was established in the United States in 1982.

IWF offers environments where women leaders from different countries, with different success stories and cultures, meet, share ideas and information, and inspire each other, and lead the way in leadership development. For this purpose, it brings together women who are leaders and have the potential to become leaders through international, regional and national conferences, meetings with senior government and institution managers, and international training programs.

Awarded as one of the 100 female leaders by IWF, whose aim is to provide international and national support and guidance to entrepreneurial, creative, investor, solution maker, successful and energetic women to develop their potential towards the goal of becoming a leader. Dr. Sibel Aksu Yıldırım has also received the PATENT AWARD given by the Ministry of Customs and Trade, the International Invention Fair Gold Medal Award and the Enterprize Enterpreneurship Award (2nd) by Boğaziçi University.
