Hacettepe University 2022-2023 academic year graduation ceremonies were held at Beytepe Campus Open Air Theater and Sıhhiye Campus Open Amphitheater. Diplomas were awarded to 7 thousand 220 students who completed their associate and undergraduate education. Thousands of students proudly threw their caps into the air at the graduation ceremonies that started on July 12 and continued until July 21.
In the ceremonies where 7 thousand 220 students graduated from 16 faculties, 1 conservatory, 2 colleges and 4 vocational schools received their diplomas; Thanks to the live broadcasts made on the corporate youtube channel of Hacettepe University, tens of thousands of people had the opportunity to watch the ceremony.
In the program flow prepared by the ceremony committee of our university; The speeches of the faculty/conservatory/vocational school top winner, faculty dean/conservatory director/vocational school director and the rector of our university were included. Hacettepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit Güran, who made a speech at the graduation ceremonies attended by the university administration and faculty members as well as their families, asked the graduates for a standing ovation before starting his speech.
Addressing the families in his speech, Rector Güran said, “Dear devoted families, you entrusted us with your children, whom you raised with self-sacrifice and out of sight. Today, we are returning your children to you, to our nation, with the professional knowledge and competence required by their field of education. I hope that your children will experience many more happiness in your life, just like the happiness they gave you today.”
Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit Güran continued his words as follows: “Today's heroes who work hard to gain the identity of Hacettepe graduates, soldiers of our country's education army, our dear graduates; Today is a very special day when you successfully crown your long and troublesome life, where you are rewarded for your efforts over the years. As the Rector of Hacettepe University, I congratulate you wholeheartedly for your outstanding achievement. You graduate with the competence and originality to represent your profession, university and country in the best way around the world.
