The "Sparkling Science" Program, supported by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, supports Citizen Science projects that aim to involve the whole society, especially children at all school levels, in scientific research processes. The Circus of Knowledge Project, funded within the scope of this program, of which Hacettepe University is one of the scientific cooperation partners, will be carried out between 01.09.2022 - 31.08.2025 under the coordination of Airan Berg from JKU Linz University and under the direction of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selay Arkün Kocadere at our university.
The main purpose of the project, which is under the theme of learning-teaching, is to create enthusiasm and curiosity for research and scientific discovery at an early age; is to encourage young people to see themselves as active individuals who create change. In this context, studies will be carried out with experts from the fields of art, science and education and approximately 980 students from different schools.
