Hacettepe University's internationalization vision continued with academic contacts in Tunisia. Hacettepe University EU Coordination Office Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Prof. Dr. Erkan Zengin and coordination office staff members Barış Çavuşoğlu and Cem Oto represented our university at the 5th Turkish-Arab University Rectors' Congress and the Turkish Universities Promotion Fair held at El Menar University in Tunisia.
During the congress, held on October 10-11, 2025, contacts were made with numerous higher education institutions from 10 different countries that are members of the Eurasia Universities Union (EURAS) at the level of rectors, vice-rectors, and international office coordinators, resulting in Erasmus+ bilateral agreement memoranda.
These agreements, made with higher education institutions in countries prioritized by the Turkish National Agency under Erasmus+ KA171, stand out for their potential to directly contribute to Hacettepe University's international competitiveness in both qualitative and quantitative terms.
At the promotional fair held on October 12, 2025, over 750 Tunisian students preparing for university entrance exams were provided with guidance on Hacettepe University's academic programs, research opportunities, and student life. Our university, which was visited by a large number of participants, was among the institutions with the highest visitor interest among the Turkish universities participating in the fair.
