The 12th Dr. Nejat Eczacıbaşı National Composition Competition, which was organized by the Izmir Foundation for Culture and Arts to support the composers’ process of writing works and to contribute to the repertoire of Contemporary Turkish music, was held in the field of Violin Concerto this year.
Among the composers who participated in the competition, Arda İşkol, a student of the composition class of our university faculty member Prof. Dr. Hatıra Ahmedli Cafer and a master’s student of our university Institute of Fine Arts, received the first prize.
