TWO YEARS OF RESEARCH SUPPORT TO THREE FACULTY
The 2020 results of BAGEP, the Science Academy Young Scientists Award Program, which was initiated by the Science Academy in 2013 and carried out with community support instead of public funds, have been announced. Three faculty members from Hacettepe University were awarded the BAGEP 2020 Award.
Six young academicians from Hacettepe have been awarded this award, which includes two years of research support, given to outstanding young scientists, for the first time in 2016.
BAGEP IS NOT A PROJECT AWARD The BAGEP
Award and the application are not project-based, and candidates must submit a research program of not more than two pages describing the research they will do if they receive the award, as well as a publication list consisting of up to ten important publications at the time of application. Within the two-page program, candidates are asked to present their research visions and career plans until the application. The BAGEP Award is given to scientists under the age of 40.
