At the "2023 Accessible Universities Award Ceremony" organized by the Council of Higher Education, our university was deemed worthy of 5 separate awards in the category of "Access in Space".
As a result of the evaluation, in which a total of 1,091 applications were made from 97 universities, our university was awarded with 5 orange flags for the Rectorate, Beytepe Library, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medicine and Sıhhiye Cultural Center.
At the ceremony held in order to provide equal opportunity in education at all levels, to eliminate the obstacles experienced in the entrance to higher education and education process, and to encourage the creation of an unhindered ecosystem in universities, YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, the Rector of our university, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit Güran was presented with an award.
