Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asli Özkirim, a faculty member of the Department of Biology at our university, was one of the 6 people elected to the 2016-2019 Board of Directors of the World Bee Colonies Losses (COLOSS) Research Group, which includes 926 scientists from 82 countries. It was also deemed worthy of the 2016 Beekeeping Honor Award, the most prestigious award of the Turkish Honey Promotion Association. And again, during the years 2016-2017, he undertook the duty of Congress General Secretary of Apimondia 2017 Istanbul, the World Beekeeping Congress with the participation of 12000 people, which is among the top 10 congresses of the world.
