Our universities MD-PhD program student Kadir Oğuzhan Soylu, who is doing his doctoral studies in Neurological Sciences and Psychiatry Institute under the consultancy of Prof. Dr. Müge Yemişci Özkan, presented their joint study with Prof. Dr. Hülya Karataş Kurşun and Onur Çağın Gürlek titled “Non-invasively Triggered Cortical Spreading Depolarizations Activate cGAS-STING Pathway in Neurons and Microglia” at the 21st National Neuroscience Congress held in Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University on 8-11 June 2023. He was entitled to receive the best oral abstract presentation prize in the congress.
