According to the results of the 2025 Asia University Rankings announced by Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world’s leading higher education ranking organizations, Hacettepe University has been ranked in the 201–250 band.
The THE Asia University Rankings adopt the same core methodology as the global rankings, but the weightings are adjusted to reflect the priorities and characteristics of Asian institutions.
This year’s ranking evaluated a total of 1,213 universities from 35 countries and regions, of which 853 were ranked. In comparison, 739 universities were ranked last year. This increase highlights the growing interest of higher education institutions in the region in enhancing their international visibility.
Hacettepe University has secured a strong position among Asia’s leading institutions, marking a significant achievement. Additionally, it was ranked 7th among 111 universities from Türkiye included in the ranking.
