Under the leadership of the Hacettepe School of Law, with the contributions of the Presidency of the Court of Cassation, the Insurance Private Pension Regulatory and Supervisory Board and the Insurance Association of Turkey, the 2nd Insurance and Corporate Law Symposium was orginazed on 25-26 November 2022.
The symposium was attended by many members of the Court of Cassation, judges, academicians and lawyers from many parts of Turkey. Mehmet Akarca, First President of the Court of Cassation, Mehmet Akif Eroğlu, Chairman of the Insurance Private Pension Regulatory and Supervisory Board, Prof. Dr. M. Cahit Güran, Rector of Hacettepe University and Prof. Dr. Rauf Karasu, Dean of the Faculty of Law made opening speeches at the symposium. During the two-day symposium, a total of 18 papers on current issues in insurance and corporate law were presented. The symposium was broadcast live on YouTube.
