Doç. Dr. Sinem Çelik Onaran, a faculty member of the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Science of our university, was awarded the "Masatoshi Gündüz Ikeda Research Award" by the Mathematics Foundation for her contributions to mathematics. The award, which aims to evaluate the researches of distinguished scientists who continue their research in the field of mathematics in Turkey and to promote such studies by announcing their superior qualities to the public, has been awarded to young researchers (under 45 years old) since 2002 in order to keep alive the memory of Prof. Dr. Masatoshi Gündüz Ikeda, who contributed to Turkish mathematics at a universal level. are given.
