Hacettepe University continues its scientific activities on an international scale with its competent academic staff. Prof. Dr. Kemal Kösemehmetoğlu, faculty member of the Department of Medical Pathology at our University's Faculty of Medicine, has been invited to contribute as an author to the “6th edition WHO Classification of Tumours – Soft Tissue and Bone Tumours” book. The publication process of the book is being carried out by The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the cancer agency operating under the World Health Organization (WHO).
Previously, faculty members of the Department of Medical Pathology, Prof. Dr. Alp Usubütün, Prof. Dr. Dilek Ertoy Baydar, and Prof. Dr. Figen Söylemezoğlu, had also achieved the distinction of being included in the “WHO Classification of Tumors” volumes.
