The "Sedat Simavi Awards", which have been given for 43 years in the name of Sedat Simavi, the founding president of the Turkish Journalists' Association (TGC), found their owners.
The scientific team consisting of Prof. Dr. Turgay Dalkara, Faculty Member of the Institute of Neurological Sciences and Psychiatry of our University, and Prof. Dr. Yasemin Gürsoy Özdemir, Prof. Dr. Umut Kalyoncu, Prof. Dr. Alp Can, Prof. Dr. Fatma Duygu Özel Demiralp, Doç. Dr. Ayşe İlksen Çolpak Işıkay, Doç. Dr. Banu Balcı Peynircioğlu, Dr. Sevda Lüle, Dr. Selen Peker and Dr. Nilgün Tekin Bubenheim, TGC Sedat Simavi received the 2019 Health Sciences Award. The award was given to the team, which was deemed worthy of the award for their collaborative study titled "Behçet Patient Serum Shows Immunoreactivity Against HSP-65 in Bacteria and Neurofilament Medium with Common Epitopes", Chairman of the Selection Committee Prof. Dr. Ahmet Gül.
