Through its activities, the Sustainable Teaching and Learning Center (STL) brings data-driven, inclusive, and sustainable teaching and learning practices to the Hacettepe community. Last semester, the Center reached 287 faculty members and 1,558 students through its activities.
Seminars organized by the Center addressed topics including the impact of artificial intelligence on the transformation of higher education, teaching and learning processes, and intellectual property, as well as accessible communication, workplace skills, entrepreneurship, and decision-making processes.
The Academic Orientation Program was completed with 45 newly appointed research assistants. A Course Design Workshop was also held with faculty members from the Department of Computer Engineering.
Aiming to Reach Thousands of Students
In the 2026–2027 Fall Semester, STL will continue contributing to education by organizing the Basic Educator Competencies Training, Technology Mentorship Program, Teaching Observation, Course Design Workshop, Academic Orientation, Innovative Teaching Exchanges, Graduate Student Talks, Life Skills Seminars, Thematic Workshops, and Academic Peer Support programs.
More than 100 sessions are planned במסגרת these programs, with a target of reaching 300 faculty members and 1,500 students.
