The results of THE World University Rankings by Subject 2025 by Times Higher Education (THE) have been announced. Subject tables uses the same performance indicators as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the individual fields.
Hacettepe University's Continuing Success
While the number of countries and universities included in the evaluation continues to increase every year, Hacettepe University succeeded in ranking in 8 out of 11 main topics in 2025 as in 2024.
Rise in Education Studies Discipline
While our university was in the 301-400 band in the discipline of Education Studies in 2024, it rose one step to the 251-300 band in 2025. Among Turkish universities, it maintained its 3rd place as it was last year.
Commitment in Other Disciplines
In the discipline of Medicine and Health, it maintained its place in the world rankings in 2025, ranking in the 401-500 band in the world rankings, as in the previous year. Among Turkish universities, it ranked 2nd as in 2024.
Hacettepe University maintained its position in the ranking compared to the previous year in the subjects of Arts and Humanities (601+), Computer Sciences (601-800), Engineering (801-1000), Life Sciences (601-800) and Science (1001+).
