The TÜBA-GEBIP prizes have been awarded since 2001 in the fields of natural, social, and health sciences. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ezgi Deniz Batu Akal received TÜBA-GEBIP award for her outstanding work in the field of pediatric rheumatology on the better understanding of the etiology of autoinflammatory diseases and vasculitis, and improving the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of the patients. The prize was awarded to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ezgi Deniz Batu Akal by the President in a ceremony held in the Presidential Complex.
