A delegation from Baku Slavic University of Azerbaijan visited our university on January 29, 2026. In the delegation, Baku Slavic University Rector Prof. Dr. Anar Naghiyev, Head of International Education Programs Department Nihat İsmayılzade, Head of Adaptive and Special Education Department Dr. Arzu Mammadova, Head of Turcology Department Assoc. Dr. Gülnara Aliyeva-Koşkun, Head of Balkan Studies Department Assoc. Dr. Nurlana Mustafayeva and Career Center Manager Günel Nazarova took part.
The delegation was welcomed by the coordination staff, Dr. Sezen Ceren Yılmaz, Barış Çavuşoğlu, and Selen Beyazlar, led by Prof. Dr. Erkan Zengin, Coordinator of International Relations and Protocols at Hacettepe University.
As part of the program, the delegation first visited Hacettepe Technopark. Following informative presentations by Salim Öztürk, Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Office, and Zeynep Bilgiç, Project Specialist, the delegation had the opportunity to examine the activities carried out at the Technopark.
During the rest of the visit, the delegation proceeded to the Faculty of Education, where they were welcomed by Dean Prof. Dr. Şefika Şule Erçetin and Research Assistant Dr. Dinçer Saral. Comprehensive information was shared about the faculty's academic structure, operations, and ongoing work.
Later in the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülnara Aliyeva-Koşkun, Head of the Department of Turkology at Baku Slavic University, held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Yunus Koç, Head of the Institute of Turkish Studies at Hacettepe University. The meeting covered the institute's areas of work, educational practices at Hacettepe University, and possible methods of cooperation for student exchange at the master's and doctoral levels. During the visit, the institute was toured, and meetings were held with faculty members and researchers. Prof. Dr. Yunus Koç presented Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülnara Aliyeva-Koşkun with a book as a gift.
Finally, as part of the program, Günel Nazarova, Director of the Career Center at Baku Slavic University, met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhat Öztürk, Director of the Career Center at Hacettepe University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Volkan Işıklı, Deputy Director, and Erdinç Koçoğlu, Administrative Coordinator. During the meeting, information was shared about the work carried out by the career centers, and professional experience was exchanged. At the end of the visit, Günel Nazarova was presented with a gift from the Hacettepe University Career Center.
