Hacettepe, known as the university of firsts and having Turkey's first and only Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Faculty, broke new ground. Hacettepe University Faculty of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Undergraduate Program was accredited for the first time in Turkey by the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) for 5 years between January 2020-2025.
WHAT IS WCPT?
Founded in 1951, the World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT) is the only international physical therapy organization representing more than 625,000 physiotherapists worldwide through its 121 member organizations. Operating as a not-for-profit organisation, WCPT is registered as a charity in the UK. WCPT is committed to advancing the physical therapy profession and improving global health.
