The UK-based ranking organization Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has released the 2026 edition of the World University Rankings. Out of 8,467 higher education institutions worldwide, 1,501 universities were ranked.
A total of 26 universities from Türkiye were included in the list. Hacettepe University, previously ranked in the 641–650 band in 2025, has made significant progress and is now ranked 571st in the world. This result is a clear indicator of our university’s recent achievements in academics, research, and internationalization.
