QS World University Rankings 2025: Europe Announced

Hacettepe University has been evaluated in the QS World University Rankings - Europe 2025, conducted for the second time this year by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), one of the world’s most prestigious university ranking organizations. This ranking, which includes 685 universities from 42 different European countries, provides an in-depth look at European institutions using the QS World University Rankings methodology.

Hacettepe University rose 17 places compared to 2024, ranking 198th. Globally ranked 198th, Hacettepe University placed 7th among 72 Turkish universities. When evaluated among universities with medical schools, our university ranked first.

Universities included in the QS Europe rankings are evaluated based on 12 different criteria, including academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per publication, international research network, sustainability and international student diversity. Hacettepe University managed to be among the top 200 universities in Europe in four of these indicators and among the top 300 universities in Europe in six indicators. The highest score for our university was in the "Employer Reputation" indicator, where it ranked 112th among European universities with a score of 60.6, an increase of 37% compared to the previous year.
