I am proud and happy to be appointed as the Rector of Hacettepe University for the second time with the appreciation and approval of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN. I would like to express my gratitude to our President Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, who deemed me worthy of this position once again, and to our President of the Council of Higher Education Mr. Prof. Dr. Erol ÖZVAR, who made the offer.
I would like to thank and express my gratitude to all my colleagues, stakeholders, public institution authorities, friends, and students, whose support and prayers I felt closely during the appointment process.
As we have done until now, we will continue our efforts with diligence, devotion and care in the future to carry Hacettepe University, one of the most distinguished, deep-rooted and successful educational institutions of our country, always further with the philosophy of “More forward… To the best…” I would like to thank you again for the attention shown to me and hope that this appointment will be beneficial to our university, the higher education community and our country.
