Hacettepe University continues its efforts to support high-achieving students throughout their academic careers. Students who list Hacettepe University as their first choice and are ranked within the top 1,000 in the YKS national rankings will be eligible for various forms of support. Depending on their specific ranking, this support will include free accommodation, a meal allowance, a sports scholarship, and assistance with computing and entrepreneurship.
Five different forms of support for students in the top 10
Students who rank within the top 10 in the YKS Turkey rankings and list Hacettepe University as their first choice will be provided with free accommodation in halls of residence, a three-meal-a-day meal grant, the Hacettepe Athletic Sports Scholarship and computer support. Students will also have priority when setting up a company at Hacettepe Technopark.
Free accommodation and computer support for students in the top 100
Students who rank within the top 100 nationwide and select Hacettepe University as their first choice will be eligible for free accommodation in student halls of residence. These students will also be offered a three-meals-a-day meal grant, the Hacettepe Athletics Scholarship and computer support. Students will also have priority when setting up a company at Hacettepe Technopark as part of their entrepreneurial activities.
Accommodation and meal grants for students in the top 1,000
Students who rank within the top 1,000 in the YKS Turkey rankings and list Hacettepe University as their first choice will be provided with free accommodation in student halls of residence and a grant covering three meals a day. Furthermore, as with other support categories, these students will be able to benefit from priority when setting up a company at Hacettepe Technopark.
Support will continue throughout the duration of the course
YKS Achievement Grants will continue throughout the standard duration of the course, including the foundation year, provided that the student maintains an academic average of 2,75 or above.
