Tübitak 3501 Grant Support for Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duygu Hatıpoğlu Aydın

The project titled “Mediation in Individual Labor Disputes: Analysis of Legal Practice and of the Experiences of Workers and Mediators in Ankara and Bursa Cases”, led by Duygu Hatıpoğlu Aydın, Assoc. Prof. in the Department of Philosophy of Law and Sociology of Law, Faculty of Law, was deemed worthy of support within the scope of Tübitak 3501 Program.

By combining research and legal practice, the project aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of mediation, revealing, analyzing, and evaluating the experiences of workers and mediators in individual labor disputes. The project is designed to reveal the experience of mediation for workers working in different forms and sectors; the experiences and impacts of mediators in the process; the similarities and differences between theory and practice in mediation; the perspectives of all parties; and how the topic is interpreted in court decisions.

The project will conduct in collaboration with Dr. Çağla Erdoğan from Ankara University Faculty of Law, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şenol Baştürk from Bursa Uludağ University, Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Assist. Prof. Dr. Orhan Emre Konuralp from Kırklareli University Faculty of Law and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Berkay Aydın (consultant) from Bursa Uludağ University, Department of Sociology.
