The book titled "Biomaterials-Innovation for World Healthcare" authored by Assit. Prof. Dr. Merve Gültekinoğlu Bayram from Hacettepe University Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine Department and her colleagues Prof. Dr. Mohan Edirisinghe and Dr. Jubair Ahmed from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University College London has been published by IOP Science.
The book aims to provide an overview and roadmap for the identification, biofabrication, and use of selected novel biomaterials for comprehensive use in critical healthcare-related clinical applications worldwide. It is aimed to shed light on new generation biomaterials developed in collaboration with life science, engineering, medicine and related disciplines in the development of new biomaterials for world healthcare.
Within the scope of the book explaining the state-of-art production methods of these new generation biomaterials; detailed applications of particles, capsules, microbubbles, and fibers for healthcare needs are introduced.
