Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özge Karadağ Çaman, faculty member of the Public Health Institute of our university, was the first academician from Turkey to be invited as a "Young Leader Physician" to the World Health Summit, where the world's leading names in the field of global health were hosted. Many politicians, business people, academics and global leaders such as Angela Merkel, Jean-Claude Juncker, Bill Gates, Peter Sands, Jens Spahn, Toyin Saraki, Jane Ruth Aceng, Tedros Adhanom attended the World Health Summit. Only 20 “Young Leader Physicians” selected from among the physicians that they can nominate are also invited.
