Our university's Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry, Dr. Aslı Ünal has been awarded the 22nd Serhat Özyar Young Scientist of the Year Award.
Dr. Aslı Ünal from our university received the 22nd Serhat Özyar Young Scientist of the Year Award for her doctoral thesis titled "Programming of Efficiently Bonded Cluster Methods and Their Chemical Applications" at a ceremony held on December 23 at the Middle East Technical University.
Since 2003, the Serhat Özyar Young Scientist of the Year Award has been presented annually to young researchers who have completed their Ph.D. in Turkey, contributed to solving a fundamental problem that is among the scientific priorities of our country through their research, and have not previously been nominated for this award.
The award is open to Ph.D. holders from the faculties of engineering and architecture, as well as from the departments of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, statistics, astronomy, and space sciences.
