Hacettepe Research Portal is now available

Hacettepe University has launched the Hacettepe Research Portal, based on Elsevier Pure, to increase the visibility of research outputs and strengthen academic collaborations.

The integration processes of the portal, developed as part of our university's digital transformation efforts, have been successfully completed. Previously, Scopus AI was launched on January 1, 2025, and SciVal on March 1, 2025. With the new portal, Hacettepe University aims to make its research power more accessible, holistic, and collaborative.

The Hacettepe Research Portal allows academics to gather their publications, projects, and other research outputs in a single institutional profile. Automatically fed by national and international data sources such as Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and TR Dizin, the system dynamically updates researcher profiles. The portal also enables the discovery of potential internal and external collaborations based on data. On the platform, thesis, project, patent, and award information is updated through YÖKSİS integration; identity and academic information are updated by matching them with YÖK Academic via the Personnel Information System. Thus, the aim is to represent academic output more accurately and consistently at the institutional level. For the portal to function properly and for research visibility to be reflected more accurately from both individual and institutional perspectives, it is crucial that researcher identities, especially Scopus ID, ORCID, and ResearcherID, are up-to-date and complete. It was stated that work to improve data quality will continue in the coming days, and content quality will be further strengthened through user feedback.

The Hacettepe Research Portal can be accessed at https://research.hacettepe.edu.tr/
