A total of 40 researcher positions have been allocated to Hacettepe University under the Türkiye Strategic Technology Human Resources Program, launched by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) to strengthen Türkiye’s qualified human resources in strategic technology fields.
The researcher positions to be evaluated within Hacettepe University’s Informatics Institute cover four strategic fields: “Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems,” “Cybersecurity,” “Information Technologies,” and “Hardware and Computer Systems.”
The program aims to support young researchers in pursuing their doctoral studies alongside scientific research and technology development activities, while enabling them to specialize in strategic technology fields through employment as research assistants during this process. The program provides researchers with opportunities to develop their academic knowledge and competencies, while also aiming to contribute to strengthening qualified human resources and increasing Türkiye’s capacity for scientific research and technology development.
The program aims to bring a total of 3,000 young researchers into Türkiye’s science and technology ecosystem over a five-year period. The 40 positions allocated to Hacettepe University under the program will provide new opportunities for the University’s research activities, particularly in informatics and strategic technology fields.
Applications Close on September 22
Applications for the Türkiye Strategic Technology Human Resources Program will close on September 22, 2026. The examination to be held as part of the program will take place on November 28, 2026.
