The doctoral thesis entitled “Identification of Macromolecular Adducts Formed as a Result of Seskimustard Exposure,” completed by Dr. Muharrem Cenk under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Suna Sabuncuoğlu, a faculty member of the Department of Pharmaceutical Toxicology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Pharmacy, has been awarded the Doctoral Thesis of the Year Award in the field of Medical Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy) as part of the 2026 YÖK Outstanding Achievement Awards.
The award, presented to promote scientific research and academic excellence, was presented to Prof. Dr. Suna Sabuncuoğlu and Dr. Muharrem Cenk by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
This achievement once again demonstrates Hacettepe University’s strong standing in scientific research, innovation, and academic excellence.
