Moment Journal, published by Hacettepe University Faculty of Communication, has successfully completed the evaluation process conducted by the Scopus Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB) and has been accepted for inclusion in Scopus.
In line with Scopus’s general practice, the journal’s content published from 2022 onward is expected to be included retrospectively once the technical content transfer process has been completed.
The evaluation report highlighted Moment Journal’s clear and distinctive research identity, the strong alignment of its published articles with its stated aims and scope, and the citations it has received from other academic journals covered by Scopus, which have helped it establish a distinct position within its field of research.
This significant achievement aligns with Hacettepe University’s vision, prioritized in its 2023–2027 Strategic Plan, of strengthening its standing as a research university and increasing its international scholarly visibility. Moment
Journal’s acceptance for inclusion in Scopus makes a tangible contribution to expanding the international reach and academic impact of our University’s scholarly output in the social sciences and humanities.
