Our university's projects, which participated as a stakeholder in the TEKNOFEST 2024 Aviation, Space and Technology Festival held in Adana between October 2nd and 6th, were deemed worthy of awards.
The DragonFly team, representing Hacettepe University in the TEKNOFEST 2024 Helicopter Design Competition, came in second. The DragonFly team, consisting of senior students from the Mechanical Engineering Department, included Selin Temür, Burak Şahin Özdemir, Selvi Yaralı, Mustafa Erdoğan, Dilay Topuz and Talha Kuran.
The Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Community was deemed worthy of the "Best System Architecture" award in the TEKNOFEST Combat UAV Competition.
The Simurgh FLY team, one of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) Community teams that produce projects within the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of our university; He won this award with his team consisting of Orhun Koç, Mert Emir Özbolat, Haydar Deniz Korkmaz, Umut Can Akyüz, Doğa Semerci, Yıldıray Sabancı, Ömer Bulgurcu, Sinem Günay, Egemen Kozanlı and Alperen Polat.
İHA also qualified to be a finalist with its 3 teams as Simurgh X, Simurgh Y and Simurgh FLY in the TEKNOFEST International UAV Competition held in Kahramanmaraş between September 19-23.
Our university Nuclear Energy Engineering Department students Mirali Tahmazlı, Büşra Çoban, Ecem Çimen, Ahmet Emre Arzuman and Mustafa Koca, who competed in the Basic Category of the Nuclear Design Competition held within Teknofest for the first time this year, B.E.A.M. team came in second and the Nüksan team consisting of Mustafa Doğukan Güler, Gülşah Dönmez, Orçun Aksoy, Nihat Allahguluyev, Mert Güngör, Seda Kılıç, Alperen Özbek, Alper Şahin and Aybüke Yılmaz came in third.
